Sun-Star Electric is the largest distributor of Hitachi submersible electric motors in the United States. Established in Texas in 1977, Sun-Star Electric is now the only authorized warranty, repair and manufacturing facility for Hitachi submersible pump motors in the world.

As a Sun-Star Electric dealer, Nickerson Company also facilitates the sale, repair and replacement of Sun-Star Electric’s own line of submersible pump motors. These motors, which service the agricultural, commercial, industrial, municipal, power and energy, and mining markets, come in both oil-filled and water-filled configurations and run up to 800 HP.
